No. Credits you buy never expire, and $1 always buys 1,000 credits.

You are not charged. An action is charged only when it completes and delivers a result; if it fails or doesn’t finish, you pay nothing.

The number of credits an action costs can change, but only for a reason our Terms list, such as our AI providers changing what they charge us; $1 = 1,000 credits never does. We email you at least 7 days before an increase, and if you don’t want to continue you can get a refund of the credits you bought and haven’t used (section 4 of our Terms). A change never affects an action you have already started, and the app always shows the current price before you start (in Auto, where Hiera picks the kind of action, the range it can cost).

Yes. You can get back credits you bought and have not used, at any time: write to [email protected] and we refund the unused part to the payment method you paid with. If you are a consumer in the EEA, the UK or Georgia, you can also withdraw from a purchase within 14 days; section 4 of our Terms explains how and what you get back. Free and Pro credits are not refundable.

Optional. Hiera Pro is $15 a month: each payment tops your workspace's free and Pro credits up to 18,000 (about 100 Standard renders), and unused credits don’t roll over. Cancel anytime in Billing; section 3A of our Terms has the details. Without it, you pay as you go: you buy credits when you need them, from $5 to $200 at a time, and use them whenever you like. Where Billing offers it for your workspace, automatic top-up is there if you want it: it is off unless you turn it on, and it never charges more than $200 a day or $600 a month per workspace.

If a Pro payment is refunded, other than for a withdrawal, Pro ends at once, and if that payment added credits we also cancel the workspace's free and Pro credits. If a chargeback is opened on any payment in the workspace, Pro ends at once and is not restored, and we cancel the workspace's free and Pro credits, even if the chargeback is later decided in our favour. A bank inquiry alone pauses AI features but does not end Pro. The details are in section 3A of our Terms.

You get 540 free credits (3 Standard renders) when you sign up and verify your email, in the workspace you create; one welcome grant per person. At the start of each month (UTC) we top your free credits back up to 540; they don’t add up from month to month. While a workspace has Hiera Pro, it doesn’t get the monthly top-up; that starts again in the month Pro ends. Free and Pro credits share one balance, so the top-up, and a welcome grant still waiting, only fill it up to 540 and may add nothing. Free credits belong to the workspace, so everyone who spends credits there can use them. They are used before credits you buy and work for any AI action. A grant usually arrives right away; if many people sign up at once, it may arrive the next day, and in rare cases not until the start of the next month (UTC). We may withhold free credits to prevent abuse or while a workspace owes money, and we cancel them if a payment dispute or chargeback is opened on a payment in the workspace (a bank inquiry alone doesn’t cancel them). We may change or end the monthly allowance for future months, telling you in advance; free credits already in your workspace stay usable. Free credits are not refundable. The details are in section 3 of our Terms.

Credits belong to the workspace, so everyone in it draws from one balance, free and Pro credits included. The workspace owner buys credits; editors spend them. Only the owner can subscribe to or cancel Hiera Pro.
